How I unfold my effect: After cleaning, apply to your face (about 2-3 drops). Don't forget to shake me well before you use me! 

Aqua – Water - Dissolves many of the ingredients that impart skin benefits

Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil* - Sunflower Oil – Makes your skin smooth, keeps it hydrated and protects and enhances the damaged or irritated skin barrier

Nelumbo Nucifera Root Water – Lotus Root Extract – Soothes the skin

Pentylene Glycol – Pentylene Glycol emulsifier - Leaves a good sin feeling while moisturizing

Polyglycerly-4 Laurate – Ester of lauric acid and Poliglycerin-4 – Conditions the skin and acts as an emulsifying, solubilizing and emollient agent

Glyceryl Caprylate - This ingredient contains glycerine as an alcohol component in esters or condensed with other (poly) alcohols or sugars. Caprylates are esters of caprylic acid (octanoic acid)- Has emollient and moisturizing properties, works as a co-emulsifier and has a strong antimicrobial activity

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phasphate – Vitamin C derivative – Promotes hydration, helps in counteracting impurities and soothes the skin. Similar benefits to Vitamin C, but is considered not as potent an antioxidant as the pure form.

Bakuchiol – Ingredient found in Psoralea corylifolia (babchi) plant – Among various anti-ageing benefits also helps calm sensitive skin and protect it from pollution and environmental stressor 

Prunus Armeniaca Fruit Extract* – Apricot Fruit Extract – Support the skin in retaining its natural moisture balance, nourishes, softens and soothes the skin

Sodium Hyaluronate – Sodium Hyaluronate – Acts as a sponge helping the skin hold onto water, being plump and elastic

What is Vitamin C?   

Vitamin C refers to ascorbic acid and its derivatives. Moreover, it is a radical inhibitor and has an antioxidant effect.  

How do I best apply Vitamin C?   

It's always best to apply vitamin C in the evening and allow it to act overnight.  

Does vitamin C possess an anti-aging effect?  

Yes, due to its function as a free radical inhibitor and antioxidant. Thus, it improves collagen production, which helps to counteract skin aging.   

What do you recommend in terms of SPF + Vitamin C?  

Ideally, you should apply the product at night. Nonetheless, whether you use morning or evening, we recommend using a sun protection factor (at least SPF 30) after application.   

What is Bakuchiol?   

Bakuchiol is a chemical compound naturally found in the seeds and leaves of the Psoralea corylifolia plant. It stimulates collagen production in the skin, can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. Furthermore, UV-induced skin damage such as hyperpigmentation can be reduced with Bakuchiol. 

Does bakuchiol possess anti-aging properties?  

Yes, Bakuchiol can reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and age spots.  

How often do I need to use the product before getting noticeable results?  

According to scientific studies, first minimal effects become visible after 28 days at the earliest, and noticeable differences can only be observed after 56 days. However, no long-term studies are currently available for HEJ ORGANIC's Vitamin C Glow Boosting Serum.
